On Monday, October 6, 2025, the First Military Region, like other garrisons in Mali, held the traditional grand ceremony at the parade ground of Camp 1 Firhoum Ag Alinçar. Presided over by Brigadier General Massaoulé Samake, Commander of the Eastern Theater of Operation Dougoukoloko, this ceremony brought together local military authorities in a spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the Republic.Through this ritual, the Defense and Security Forces were urged to maintain their determination and commitment in fulfilling their sovereign missions. General Samake also highlighted the current security challenges, calling for increased vigilance and unwavering unity.
This solemn moment reminds everyone of the importance of commitment to republican values and duty to the nation.
