NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF YOUTH AND SPORTS: the recipients of the 21st graduating class immersed in the Army Museum

As part of their training, the graduates of the 21st class of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) undertook a study visit to the Army Museum on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

This immersive experience aimed to enhance their knowledge of Mali's military history and to enable them to better understand the role of the Malian Armed Forces in defending national sovereignty.

During the visit, the students explored the various collections retracing Mali's military history, the key events in national defense, and the acts of bravery of the heroes who contributed to preserving the sovereignty and glory of our country. The explanations provided by the Museum's staff allowed the visitors to better understand the evolution of the Malian Armed Forces over time and the importance of preserving this historical heritage.

Speaking on this occasion, the president of the 21st graduating class, Assoumane Alidji Touré, indicated that this visit was part of the educational activities of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS). According to him, this initiative offers the graduates the opportunity to discover Mali's military history, to better understand the symbols of the nation, and to enrich their knowledge through the exhibited collections. He also praised the warm welcome extended to the delegation and the thoroughness of the explanations provided by the staff of the Army Museum.

Beyond its educational value, this immersive experience helped to strengthen the graduates' civic culture, reinforce their patriotic spirit, and deepen their understanding of national military history.

By hosting this delegation, the Army Museum reaffirms its role as a key institution for transmitting national memory, contributing to the dissemination of military history and the strengthening of patriotic awareness among younger generations.
