The PCIAT-EST command of Operation “Maliko”, just 10 days after total control of the locality of Anefif by the FAMa, mobilized the necessary resources to provide food and medical assistance to the populations.
The two GTIA “Askia” and “Adrar”, successively commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Moussa OUATTARA and Lieutenant-Colonel Seydou GUINDO distributed, on October 18, 2023, to the populations of Anéfif, food composed of pasta, flour and oil. Medicines were also delivered to the CSRF Center to treat patients and deal with urgent cases.
The delivery of food involved 37 families in the presence of the mayor of Anefif, Mr. Souheyfi Ould BEID. The latter said he was very grateful and thanks the FAMa for these actions. He reassured of the unwavering support of all populations for the Defense Forces and the Transitional authorities. “The presence of the FAMa in the Anefif Sector will greatly contribute to the return of peace and security because the populations suffer from insecurity and banditry,” underlined the mayor.
These aid and medical assistance actions will not be the last in the Anéfif Sector, Lieutenant-Colonel Moussa OUATTARA reassured the mayor of the locality. For the command, this is to reassure the populations of the Fama's sovereign missions which are to secure people and their property without distinction of race, support the populations on site and facilitate the return of all communities through awareness raising and also strengthen collaboration between the FAMa and the populations.
The PCIAT-EST commander of Operation Maliko, Colonel-Major Makan Alassane DIARRA, who coordinates operations in the Sector, recalled and reassured that the FAMa will spare no effort to bring peace and quiet to the populations. Before maintaining that the FAMa are resolutely committed to securing populations throughout the territory.
The Senior Officer finally urged the populations to support the FAMa for the rapid return of peace and security.
